Information on Marianne’s clan

-Descended from the wolves of the ancient past, animals who were faster, stronger, bigger, and more intelligent than the average wolf.

-Gifted the ability to change by Herne the Hunter & Cernunnos

-Immortality comes along with the ability to change into werewolves. Their aging is very, very, very retarded. On a general basis, they’ll stop changing in connection with their first change. I.E: If their first changed occurred when they were sixteen, they will stop aging at that point.
Immortality does not mean they cannot be killed. Fire, silver, anything that severs the spinal cord can kill them.

-They are pack animals by nature, but have separated for the survival of the pack.

-Heightened immune systems. AIDs, HIV, etc do not effect werewolves in any way, shape, or form. They cannot contract it, they can have sex with someone who has it, and they will not get it. It may join their bloodstream, but shortly there after it will be destroyed by the werewolf immune system. Whether its because of their everchanging form or if its something else, no one is positive.

-One mate for each wolf, once they’ve found that mate, there is no other.

-Once a week, they must shift forms or they will lose control.

-The clans are both Matriarchal and Patriarchal. Either a male or female can be an alpha.

-The clan itself still worships the ancient Celtic Gods. After all, they Celtic Gods gifted them with the ability to change.

-Body temperatures range anywhere from 106 to 120, depending on the body build, the person, and so forth.

-They carry their human weight into their wolf form, perhaps a little difference as they are bigger, stronger, and faster in their wolf form in a sense.

Important Events & Pack History

-Given the ability to change at an early stage in the human developmental cycle in the Celtic/Druid religion. Protect their lands with a ferocity unlike others.

-Agreed upon by the Gods & Goddess, there is a ban on human flesh to the werewolves. They are not to kill humans.

-All ‘bitten’ wolves were terminated in the year of 1409 when the clan of the bitten decided to break the ban on human flesh.

-In 1939, the clan was separated into two. One half went with Marianne & her mother, Regina, and the other half went with Ethan and her cousin James.

-1941, James was captured in a P.O.W Concentration camp and was dissected by the scientists there. The werewolves, shortly after figuring this out, pulled out of the war and had one last meet, in which Marianne and Ethan decided it best that they scatter across the globe, for protection and so that if they were dead set on destroying the werewolves, they couldn’t get all of them at once. Naturally, the findings of the werewolf genetics was destroyed in 1945 at the end of the war.

-In the year of 2007, there is the strong belief by Marianne that she and her cousin are the only werewolves of the O’Connell Clan left. Five years before this, Marianne's son was born.
